We are introducing our new Fundraising Reward Program where you can earn some great prizes when you raise funds for Komen Greater Cincinnati. Check out the prizes at each level and start fundraising to enjoy a great reward! If you've never tried it before - don't hesitate - it's easy! Rewards start at the $250 level and get better and better the more you raise. Rewards include Komen Race for the Cure merchandise, Cuisinart kitchen appliances, Bose® Outdoor Speakers, Dyson® vaccuums, even a Samsung® LCD TV! Individuals and teams can fundraise with our easy to use online fundraising tools! After you register online for the Race, you will receive easy to follow instructions regarding your fundraising page. In no time at all, you will be working toward incentives!!

Here's how to enter donations received offline (ex. checks):

• LOG IN to your Race Center
• Click on MY PROGRESS
• The gray chart will show all of your "online" donations
• In the upper RIGHT HAND corner of the gray box click ENTER OFFLINE DONATION
• Enter the donor name and the amount
• Save and Proceed

Your donation will show in your fundraising total but will be marked "unconfirmed" until it is received by the Komen office.

SPECIAL FUNDRAISING AWARDS:

• Grand Prize: The Individual Fundraiser and the Team raising the highest total donations (collected by 9:00 AM on Race Day) will each receive one American Airline or American Eagle ticket to anywhere in the contiguous United States.  This will be awarded on Race Day!
• Friends for Life Award:  This year we will award the fifth annual Kim L. Dahlinghaus FRIENDS FOR LIFE fundraising award.  Kim, a committed volunteer and outstanding fundraiser for the Komen Greater Cincinnati Race for the Cure, lost her battle with breast cancer in November 2005.  In memory of her longtime friendship we will honor the Individual Fundraiser raising the highest total donations with a special gift.  This award will be presented at The Power of a Promise Event in May 2011.

Donations are tax deductible.  The taxpayer ID for the Komen Greater Cincinnati Affiliate is 75-2855038.  Receipts are in compliance with IRS requirements.  Receipts will be issued for individual contributions of $250 and above.  For lesser contributions, a canceled check serves as a receipt.
